dixie's window

I enjoyed going outside today, and welcomed the sunshine after the snow we had the last couple of days.  Our apple tree is chuck-full of beautiful, ready-to-can apples.

Fall is a beautiful time of year.  Just watching the leaves turn their beautiful yellow, gold and red colors is a wonder to behold.  We gather up the last of the produce from the garden, and trim the bushes one last time before winter really hits.  Then the flower pots are emptied saying good-buy to the flowers that brought so much beauty throughout the summer.  I'm grateful today. :D
