| Growing up in California had its advantages. We lived in an avocado orchard, and had orange and lemon trees. Hot summer days consisted of swimming in the pool and Mother making fresh lemonade. I have missed that the last few days, here in Rexburg. It's been beautiful, warm, and I have craved that comfort drink that quenched my thirst. And so I share with you a recipe for fresh lemonade. Simple, however a favorite of mine. :D 6 cups cold water 2 cups lemon juice (8 to 10 lemons) 1 cup of sugar ice cubes Mix water, lemon juice and sugar in large pitcher until sugar is dissolved. Add ice and enjoy! |
